Ooo Toes
Grammy and Grandpa Wells and Uncle Jake (or Juncle as he would like to be called) are visiting this weekend. They just got here and Grammy is enjoying herself immensely. Lucy is also visiting. So far animals have had mixed reactions to Layden. Lucy seems to like him and can become concerned if he cries a lot. Koira felt most comfortable when she could pretend he wasn't there. She sniffed him once and gave him a wide berth whenever possible. Jetta on the other hand has responded with animosity.Layden is getting more and more talented everyday. I'm not just saying it because I'm the mother, I have heard it from less biased sorces that he is the best baby ever. So there. Today he rolled from back to front. This completes the second half of the combo roll. Once he learns to do this reliably he will be able to travel. He also has recently discovered his toes. Every once in a while he catches sight of them and then bends all of his will power to bringing his hands in contact with his toes. He also plays a bit more with other shiny objects that come into his view, though the majority of his movements still amount to flailing. He has a Baby Mozart dvd that he quite enjoys and actually captures his attention for almost a half hour.
